Dhyana is a musician and performing artist and is currently recording a CD of her original music featuring bansuri bamboo flute, voice and ancient healing modes. She has performed with many contemporary musicians including Shanti Shivani, Geoffrey Gordon, Bodhi Setchko, & Laura Barry, and has recorded with Talia Rose and with Mindia Kein, as a member of the world fusion band Kotekan, playing the interlocking rhythms of Balinese Gamelan. Her teachers include Manose, Sachdev and Pollyanna Bush. Recently in creative collaboration with renowned Storyteller Hari Meyers; The Ramayana and The Story, Song and Dance of Shiva-Shakti have been performed throughout the SF Bay area. She is often sighted playing her flute at community gatherings and chanting circles. Stay tuned!
